just bought the six bar

Hi,now i am having a 5 cm distichodus,the one that usually call "six bar".i put it in 150 gal.the tankmates are clown loach,black ghost,pimelodus pictus,and peter elephant nose fish,with 2 bristlenose plec.does my tank enough to house them for a long time?and can they workout with each other nicely?

a distichodus sp can be very nasty in behaviour as they mature

and if you got the D.sexfasciatus, they can grow pretty big too

I don't have experience with them but I've heard that they grow pretty slow so I think it will be ok for awhile

I had a sexfasciatus and it was a complete sod, wouldnt leave anything alone, bullied even my peacock bass and Gars.
I got fed up of it int he end and sold him.

Was a real PITA so I got rid of him in the end, although I am sure like EVERY fish, just because one behaves in such a way there is nothing to say they all will.
