yeah, it's a marble gar, which is not a true gar. look at the pinned topics which have very clear ID's on differentiating between true gars and 'false' gars. these postings are quite clear so google is virtually unnecessary.
So I just through a piece of dried krill into the tank. The spotted pike (i guess i'll call him) went up to it very slowly and put it in his mouth gently. A seconds later he swam away without it. Is that normal? I haven't seen him eat yet. I haven't tried feeder fish yet. Any input would be greatly appreciated.
