just caught this florida

those are the only quality pics i got of this gar but i have more pics from the florida trip in the fishing section if anyone is interested. ive never seen gars in concentration like that. we cleaned the fish and thew the scraps in the water and there was just an ungodly number there and pretty darn big ones too.

I apologize for my cynicism. Nice catch by the way.
if you're in most areas in Florida it's most likely a Florida gar, if you're up fishing in Indiana it's a spotted gar. it sounds like he's confident they are Florida gars, so i would assume he's fishing somewhere in FL

it was chilly in the mornings last week. It is fall/winter down there too. just not as cold as indiana.
