hey all, feeling bit crappy i just cut my stock back and my tank is looking pretty empty now... i know its for the better just have to refrain from buying loads more fish now!
i had;
12 inch midas
8 inch midas
10 inch butti
8 inch butti
12 inch fh
7 inch sb red texas
7 inch synspilum
7 inch blackbelt
8 inch festae
7 inch festae
13 inch sailfin plec
7 inch sailfin plec
12 inch suncat
8 inch syno cat
15 inch wyckii cat

now its just the two midas, two festae, large butti, wyckii, suncat and two plecos...
cheer me up tell me im a good boy lol! hopefully my festae female will get her colour back and the stress levels will go down, just hope the low level of fish doesnt help one get singled out for abuse... midas and festae get on pretty well, the male festae doesnt like the butti so we'll see how this works with the extra room.

Your a good boy lol. But really it is for the best, you could always add so schooling target fish should the butti and festae start going at it more.

maybe thats a good idea but what would you suggest considering the wyckii? cheap and fast maybe?

so maybe tiger barbs...? at the end of the day everything under 4 inch is going to be at serious risk by the wyckii... so what is the fastest and most likely to survive small fish anyone? i used those slimmer looking tiger barbs with a manny piranha i had a few years back but they still got picked of at a rate of around 20 a month...

im going to get some fish food shortly and really like the idea of a school... what species people?

My 120 was kinda overstocked so I got rid of everything except for the fish I was super attached with. The tank looked so empty and really no longer gave me the joy it did before. Then my 7 year old female chocolate cichlid died and I sold every thing in that tank. And I now completely regret all of that. But at least I get to put in whatever I want now.

Good job. As far as target fish, I would not use Tiger Barbs... I tried that once and within 12hrs my cichlids ate them all. They were about 1.5 to 2". Your Wyckii will eat most target fish if not all that you put in there, but you already know this, lol.

+1. Too small and not fast enough. I would try 6-8 fully grown giant danios(4"). They are super fast and look less like an easy lunch due to their larger size.
