i just all of my test and my ph was about 7.4 and the ammonia was 0ppm and my nitrate was between 60 and 80 ppm. and i have been doing water changes and everybody has said my tank is cycled. about every2 to 3 days my tank gets this foggy green tint is it because the nitrate is so high. whats the deal. thanx

your readings are fine what you have is green water (algae) get a uv sterlizer or find do a tank black out then after minamize the amount of light entering the tank (how long do you leave your lights on)?

Sounds like a bloom. I use Algae remover in that situation, but It is very hard on plants if you have any.

If you can't wait and really want to clear up the cloudiness... you might want to try a diatom filter, clears up cloudy aquariums fast.

i keep the lights on about 15 hrs. a day i turn them on when i get up and when i go to bed i turn them off is that to long. no it does not get a natural sun light

lights seem like theyre on for a long time try keeping them on half that amount put them on a timer if you have to
