I didn't want to chance the clove oil method and I don't think I could have smashed him in the head. this was the most humane way for the both of us. I am going tonight to look around for another aro but I don't think it will be the same. you really get attatched to your first true monster fish.. thanks again. this site has been alot of help.

If you do believe this, what gives you the right to take gods creatures out of the wild and put them in a small aquarium. I did the humane thing as there was no point in watching my friend suffer. Starving to death is a much worse fate than what I did.
