I never see the regular snooks anywhere, always the red's

How common are green snooks and how much are they worth? Last year my LFS had hundreds of them for a few bucks each. They had a 300 gallon display with about 10 large adults. It cracked over night and all but about 6" leaked out. The next morning the employees through them in another tank and by that even they had three clutches of eggs! They had more then they knew what to do with!

That would be awesome!! Do they still have some?! Would be great to score a female or three.

They definitely aren't as common as they used to be, the reds pretty much took over the hobby because of their color. Would be great to get more of the normal variant back in the hobby for sure!

Nice to see a shot of him. Very interesting fish. Wish the one i found the other day was a normal but you thought he would turn red. Thanks for psoting the shots.

That snook is really sweet.I have come across the Red Snooks now and then and passed them up.If they were like that though, I would have snavelled them up for sure.
