i got him for 50 bucks. hes awsome. does anyone know the max size on these?

Not sure but mine was 24'' when it died. Freshwater moray are one of my favorite fish. I have been thinking of picking up another one. I picked mine up for 30 bucks but it wasn't that big. Nice pick up I hope you enjoy him. I know I did!! I added aquarium salt twice the recomended for freshwater fish.

i didnt know that. will a jardini and a ornate birchir be ok in this trype of water?

they do need salt.its best to keep them to there respected habitat(fresh, salt, etc).

They will definatly require brackish water made with Marine salt rather than the medical salt for fresh. SG usually between 1.005 and 1.010. I think they can go full marine.

They are great fish I would love to get another. They usually max a 24".

Enjoy!!:)

i had one for three years it was 21''.he was in a brackish tank for 6 months then in a 125 salt tank for the rest of the time.he died of a pariste that i didn't notice until it was to late. any they need carnivours diets.and then they should have many hideing spots.they're really great fish.
