just got a 20'' freshwater moray eel

I wish mine would have ate frozen squid! He wouldn't touch anything that was already dead.

No. Best to keep him with actual brackish fish. Make sure the other fish aren't nippy or aggressive as the eels are prone to getting picked on.

I'll agree with everything but the getting picked on part. I provided my eel a cave and any fish that went to stick its head in ran into his mouth of sharp teeth! Mine was never picked on! He'd his own when I kept him in aquarium salt with my female jag, until I decided to switched him out to a true brackish tank.

I'm going to get a fw moray for my 150G tank. I put in 60 tbs. of freshwater aquarium fish salt. Was told freshwater fish salt works too.

I have 2 motoros in a 150 gallon tank, and I can't put marine salt in the water. I already have 60 tablespoons of freshwater aquarium salt in my tank(double recomnded for freshwater) and I want a moray. What can I use?
