So other then the fact that these guys become absolute monsters. Can an experienced mbu keeper explain to me the possible differences that I need to know about between keeping a Mbu and keeping a Fahaka. I've kept several Fahaka's in my day but this is my first Mbu so any information would be greatly appreciated.

same, except tank size obviously. they both are water dogs, eats the same things.

I think Mbu's are MUCH more "laid back" kind of attitude than Fahaka's. Mosrt people would agree that you would NOT want to stick your hand in with a Fahaka, but my Mbu does not seem to care at all and seems very gentle.

I bet it's adorable! Pics? Have you read the articles I have on them?

I'm working on pics I don't really have any good ones just yet. Which articles on them? I've done a lot of net research. Maybe you can point some out for me. Right now he's eating raw shrimp but hasn't touch the half shelled mussels. He's still just a little guy I'm hoping he doesn't turn out to be as lazy as my Fahaka.

Ive had 2 mbu s . They are the best . They know there owners well. They are very gentle and don't have and attitue like fahakas. Ive had my mbu since he was 6 inches. He is now 2ft long. One more thing you can have other fish with the mbu. My fahaka killed my tigrinus catfish in 3mins . lol

Far gentles than Fahaka's
