Does it matter? A tank to house one at the adult stage cost hundreds to thousands, and they eat a lot of $ worth of food. The fish itself is a drop in the monetary bucket. That's why I always say don't worry about how much the fish cost.....worry about the housing cost. Get the fish you want (regardless of cost) as long as you can house it.

(This is obviously talking about the standard sub $1000 fish. Obviously an Asian aro, some flower horn, xanthic RTC, etc... Would require serious thought as to the purchase of the fish itself.)
