a needle nose doesnt have an adipose and they are not a true gar.

For Feeding I was only able to get him to eat Feeders for a year or so. But Now he has more competition for food and actually eats some krill now too. I have noticed that unless they have competition or are starving they will eat when they feel like it. I used to call him lazy for letting a feeder swim right in front of his nose and not eat it.
