Just got a Larger Aimara... Anyone have one larger?

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
I see NO mention of diet.... LOL ;)

You're a lucky man. I was super excited for a few days... BUT I really do think the best choice was made. What happened to your other one may make you appreciate this one even more. I'll be even more happy for you if you actually found a fish to hang on to.... :) IF not then you know where to send that angry guppy. ;)

I would make another thread in the photo lounge to show this best off.

lol thanks man. Sorry for the let down, I was on the fence on this guy. I only miss 2 fish, one was my Aimara, the other was my HS Aro. Doesnt look like I'll be getting the Aro back anytime soon, so I had to grab this guy!

is this one that the person was asking for only $800 for the 24" aimara. a fish this big has to have a story behind it, how did you get home, pickup or ship, was he difficault to move, i think every body would like to no lil more info.

I'd really rather not discuss prices in this thread, not a big deal, but I just dont like to talk too much about what things cost. It's just not me.

The move was not really all that bad. The fish did not go quietly, actualy took a notch out of a wooden broom handle. We eneded up throwing a bath towel over him and netting him in the confusion. No injuries to anyone, or to the fish. He was sedated in the container for the move. Got home and dumped the whole thing into the 8'x4' tank, covered it up, and thats it. Sorry, not much of a story. Everyone was on edge during the capture. Pretty exciting dealing with something like this.

I sure will. I'll be taking pics, and maybe a vid or 2 soon. You should have seen me trying to work in the tank yesterday. Never did get my hands in the water.
