Just got a new Dat few questions?

Hey guys, I got my new Dat Saturday and hes been hiding ever since. I know this is normal escpecially since theres a lot of other big fish around. My local Fish store has 2 indo's for sale around 3in, I know 2 is not good but three is ok as far as Dat keeping, do you think I should buy 2 more to keep all the focus off of the new fish and make him feel mor comfortable? Maybe he will come out and look for food and not feel so itimadated? Thanks

Dats are known to hide a lot. Get rid of all hiding spots and it will still stay at the corner at a vertical position.

I purchased 7 NTT datnoids before. All of sudden, one died after the other for unknown reasons. My water was perfect and all other fish were doing fine.

Right now, i just have indonesian datnoids. They are very hardy and ez to care if pellet train

I love them and am on the look out for 1 myself, but being from the UK its not that easy

Just meant quality , looks and overall as a fish compared to other species. You know like with frontosas Moba is generally regarded as the best and Burundi is average as far as Fronts go. Thats all and thanks for the help.

well nearly all thin bars look the same in terms of stripes the only difference being colour

they do better in groups compaired to other tigers which fight more with each other

they seam to grow to the 13inch mark then just die for no known reason

they are nice
