yup =] I didnt even know she was there at first.. I was actually chasing another fish and I saw movement to my side so I looked over and she was right there sifting in the sand... I quickly turned and started to snap... she wasnt bothered by me at all.
 
Sweet pictures! It has been too long since I have been diving down your way. I am getting out to socal this January though, so hopefully I will have some pictures of my own to share then.

Love spades...no one targets them, but I think the meat is better than atlantic sheepshead. Nice broad target for spearfishing too! :D

Socal should be cool. I havent been... take pics! As for the wetsuit... I live in FL... of course I am a wussy to anything "cold" (translate= anything below 70 deg.) =p Yes finally someone else who likes spade fish.. I think they taste awesome!!! I am suprised no one really bothers with them. As for spear fishing I do have a spear gun located in my apartment however it belongs to the bf and where I was at is protected waters anyways.
 
thanks for sharing...i hope to be there soon. my parents just bought a house there.....sure beats cold canadian winters
