Glad you made it brother. Im in Atlantic City adn lost electric for four days, not so bad. Everyone made it also. I'll tell ya what, a generator is in the plans for sure. My nerves were shot over possibly losing the tank. Good news dude!

I commend you sir! Shows great dedication and perseverance, I know how hard it can be to keep up with keeping your fish alive under those circumstances. Many lost fish out there by you due to their extended power outages and even worked their butts off doing hot water changes etc and still lost them all

Glad your fish made it, I got very lucky this time here in Northern, NJ. My whole town lost power for days, my sister who lives in same town, only 5 mins away still has NO POWER TODAY makes day-10.
I got spared this time, I lost all my fish last year in the Irene flood, that filled my basement with 6 feet of water and and home heating oil, even lost both cars underwater in the flood.
My 6 little Orinos are doing well, I have a generator on standbye, hoping todays snow storm is not to bad.
Lived in NJ my whole life, for 38-years, never used to worry about the weather, now I do every year.

Glad to hear most people were able to keep their fish alive through this storm. I lost power for 11 days and thanks to the fire place and my generator i was able to keep the fish warm enough and breathing. 2 fish got ick from the fluctuating water temp. My house was 50 degrees at one point. Apparently Eheim heaters dont work as well as advertised.
