Just got my 4th Tat. But hes ROCKY :(

I just picked up my 4th Tat today from L Aquatics. I have been quarentine him for about 2hrs now and he keeps tilting over. With in the first 10 min of seing this (Right when I got home!!) I called and he said he sadaited him (sorry for the spelling), so my Q is how long will he keep doing this for (Tat)??
I have been doing the drip method and most of the blue water (color H2o he came in...) is gone and getting more and more clear. I have a heater in there with a thermom. for the temp and a brand spanking new air stone.
When will he swim on his own?? I keep picking him up off the floor and he will stand straight for a min then flop over. WTF!
Any info for me plz????????????????????????????????????????????????????????

oh ya I just remember make sure its gills are still moving and if you have to, push it around the tank as well just so the water can pass through its gills....

I have him in a 20gl Igloo and it is hard to see if his gills are moving. I have a 300gl air pump connected to one air stone and it is making the water move like crazy (air bubls everywhere)
I do pick him up out the water every here and there out of concern and he opens his mouth and smiles at me
So I know hes alive and breathing. I also went to the store to buy longer air lines and came back (about 15-20 min trip) and he was lying down tanning but was still good after. Of course he did lay down again

As far as I know, once you put the fish in your tank, the sedative should wear out in 10-15 minutes. BTW, to my knowledge, the blue "stuff" is for ick preventative, and it's common practice to put in when you ship/transport fish due to temperature fluctuation foreseen. GL E!

powerhead works a lil better but i have done this.... warm tank add air stone and some salt....
