So its buy the fish then worry about housing them properly later?.

Yeah, pretty much. They're about 2 inches max. I doubt he'll have to worry about where to put an 18 inch fish, since well, he doesn't have any that size yet!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My question is why when a newbie post everyone flames them but someone who has posted for awhile post a similar scenerio & all is well? just because someone doen't post that much doesn't mean they have any less experience . Just because a person post often could mean they just have a lot of spare time. Not to throw the thread just noticeing the flames another thread compared to the cudos on this.

Great acqusitions

:iagree: and find it quite hilarious. Just because somebody has hundreds of posts people think it's fine to have fish that should require thousands of gallons when full grown in a couple hundred (if that).:screwy:

there are 2 very important things that I want to mention:

1--dovii88 bought some very large growing fish but he KNOWS they will need very large tanks to be housed in. Now it is up to him when the time comes to make sure those fish have the tank space they need.

2--and this is the most important...which Amphilophus did you order? :D come on, I have to know. Amphilophus (midas types) have become my favorite groups of fish so I must know which one you ordered. :D I currently have 2 pet store red devils, 6 juvie but growing Amphilophus amarillo (F2's) and around 8 or so juvie F1 Amphilophus sp chanchos. I wish I had the money and tank space to order some of the mostly black labiatus and citrinellus as well as some saggitae, xiloensis and hogaboomorus.

haha i will tell you...and thank you jason...for tellin people that i know wat im doing lol..i dont think i woulda got the dovii if i couldnt house them in the future..im sayin i got my betta bowl ready for them....lol

my dovii are in ct..woot woot..
