Wont that blood parrot eat all those little 1'' fish. But I understand how you want to keep it. Your moms fish right. The Os gonna grow way fast too.

i had him in my aunts 55 for 10 mins and he was whoopin my aunts fish and teh O is 6 inches same as my BP
Yeah blood parrots cant swim well so i doubt it will catch the young agile fish. Btw convict breeder, you said your going to get rid of the other fish, right. So my question is were will they be going when you get rid of them?

, most cichlids are more like rugby players, agility,speed,power,ugly teeth in some cases(balls to the wall never seem or act "hurt") Mine,(my blood parrots) have killed more fish than any other in my house....."Parrots can and will eat a small fish"
I think BPs are not matched up well against a cichlid that can close its mouth. The whole jaw locking wouldn't go down so well.
