Just got out new tank

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Lol. Lucky! I only have a 75 so your tank is twice the size of mine, and I think mine is huge as it is, I can't imagine how much fun you will be able to have with yours! You should totally make it a cichlid tank. (;

im glad everyone is sharing my excitement! :) (I was pretty stoked about the price too. Only $140) I Love craigslist! Well right now our new tank is stocked with a 14" arrowana, three 6" oscars, and a 9" hybrid shovelnose-red tail catfish. I would love to get another stingray or two but need to get some more filtration and do a lot more research before that happenes. (our first singray just died a couple days ago because of us not being prepared so I feel horrible) I would also love to get a mbu puffer but I don't even think a 150gal is going to be big enough. What do you guys think? Do you think a mbu would be okay and then upgrade later on.

Slick tank man! only one concern...is that a TV over the tank? Disaster waiting to happen IMO, best case is that the humidity will mess up the TV esp if you dont have lids on the tank.

Cool tank!
As for stocking more, I'd say you'll be needing an upgrade anyways allready, but I suppose you know that!
Your tank will be cramped quarters in no time ,seeing you got some serious tankbusters in there with amazing growth potential.:D:D:D
So I'd say do not get anymore fish until you can upgrade.

Congrats on the nice tank. Buy what you can afford with your budget. Don't worry about what everyone think. It's your life and tanks so do what you enjoy.

awww little red tail cats are sooo adorable i just wish they didnt get so HUGE or id have one in my tank... but yeah the cat will eventually need bigger tank, the oscars should be fine and i would only do one stingray at most (not sure which is the smallest adult size but you need that one lol) also not sure about the arrowana adult size or the puffer as i havnt had either but you could put some really awesome CA/SA cichlids in there!
by the way GREAT TANK good luck with all your new fishies:)

Grats man enjoy!!! Waiting on pics of the stock!!
