you need to put a lot of hitting places in there for them and for food blood worms or mini pellets

Yea i have some hiding places for them. but for some reason they never seem to hide..lol:ROFL:... and i have been giving them blood worms and they go crazy for them.. its just, a single bloodworm looks longer than their body.

I feed my RT Fry - Hikari Micro Pellets, Supirulina Flake, and let them indulge on very tiny pieces of shrimp to help develop the reds.

i do have some shrimp.. so i guess i will break it up and try it out..

They're going to need more than bloodworms and shrimp. I always crush my flake food up into powder for my fry. It works just fine and when they get bigger I introduce them to other foods.

yeah when mine were really tiny i fed then the hikari first bites and they loved it but mix it in some tank water first and then poor into the school and they will gobble it up but once they were big enough i just did the same thing with crushed up flakes, i would feed worms and other high protein foods very sparingly when i started feeding high protein stuff like that too early some of them bloated before i realized they needed more veggies, so i would stick with different types of flake until they are larger, also keep a close eye out for aggression, mine started taking each other out even at that small of a size, by the time they reached an inch i only had 3 left out of 20 or 25 and shortly after that only had one and this was in a 30in long 20g tank that had plenty of hiding spots and plants and the most dominant one straight up tortured the others until they bloated so just make sure to keep an eye out for that but once you get them up to 1-1.5in they are pretty sturdy GOOD LUCK!!! they are great fish and i found when i had mine from this young age they actually became quite personable and would come up begging for food even at such small sizes
