2 worst bites i have had? 1 has too be that 1 summer i went field herping and decided to take a dive down to a bottom of a pond to see if i could find anything and me and my friends started playing in it and i came up with about 10 leaches on my legs. Also all i have to say is a freshly imported adult egyptian uromastyx can leave a bloody mark when mad.

I cant say it hurt to bad but a few years ago i got bitten by a brown recluse and of course i waited and it formed a nice hole in my thumb and i had streaking marks up my arm and started getting sick. Then I went to the er ad had to get iv anti biotics and some other crap. That was pretty sucky.

I was doing something stupid and hand feeding a large water monitor a rat, he grabbed the rat and my hand and proceded to shake and kill the pre-killed rat. The shaking was VERY violent.
Result- Surgery to repair a torn ligament in my shoulder.

my big burm had me on my calf and tore the muscle. about half hour after was tagged my leg started cramping really badly and my foot and bum cheek went numb.
so went down hospital and hed torn the calf muscle....for that i got a tetnus shot and antibiotics.
feeding response bite...not wise but my own fault. didnt really hurt.

My bearded dragon (yes, really) that I've had since I was a kid bit the tip of my pointer finger, crunching my fingernail down the middle, where it eventually rotted, fell off, and regrew somehow. Had a big common snapper and a big water snake bite since but somehow did get more than some small cuts.

Don't you have a retic on the way? Now at least you know what's coming ;) Actually my old retic never bit me, despite the rep they've got. Wild caught normal retic, super-aggressive feeding response, but never bit.

Years ago, I got bit by a baby red-tailed boa. Every time you went near him, he assumed you were going to feed him. It was nuts.

I also get bit by my red zebra in my Malawi tank quite often.

And my yellow-sided green cheek conure, Loki, bites when he doesn't want to go back in his cage and every time he sees a freckle. He thinks they're ticks. Bless his little birdy heart.

I have a JD I got from a friend who has bitten her husband several times. She hasn't come after me yet, but my daughter named her "Bertha" just in case.

Let"s see..... there was a skink that left a nice little scar on my thumb, the 34" 12lb(weighed after being on the floor all night:cry:) silver arowana that engulfed my hand like a freakin' mailbox(that left interesting, big U shaped bloody tracks on the top and bottom off my hand.....still regret not inking them). Just about every lg cichlid commonly kept has bled me and my Parrot used to tear the crap outa me when he was going through adolescence.
oh.... and my 2 year old son chomped down on my finger this morning.....man baby teeth are sharp!
