Lol! That's what Mike said! "You just got done whining about homework for 5 years now you want two more years?!" hahaha
No. I'm a writer. Screenwriter, more specifically. Its a brand new program at a local college (So I don't have to go cross-country for the Master's) and there were only 5 open seats in the screenwriting MFA. I just graduated in May so I thought for sure I'd never get in this summer. I'm so relieved!!
We will be writing and watching movies and reading screenplays and going to local screenings of shorts....Anything to do with the art that forms the backbone of a movie. I suck at analysis but am a writer by nature, so it will be interesting to see what they emphasize, writing or studying.
We start in late July/early Aug with a 10-day residency at the college where we meet the rest of the class and our teacher, learn the ropes, and go to intensive workshops and classes by teachers and writers they brought in from all over the place. I'm really looking forward to it!
I know that one of my classmates from MetroState (Where I got my BA) made it in, but I don't know who the other three are.
Personally I think Kelly is joining the Majin Federation Army and going to fight in Tanzania.

Ahhhhhh, i know what type of course it is then... A friend if mine studied something similar where you basically dissect everything about a movie and explain why it was done the way it was kinda deal...
