Just got this little dude today...

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Update....if anyone wants to know....he's strong and healthy as ever. I was just looking at the pic I posted and I swear he seems like he's grown a half an inch or more. Then I thought...nah...he couldn't have grown that much, could he? But he is definitely bigger. I just haven't noticed on a daily basis. He's a very good eater so he's got that going for him. I sometimes put small pieces of nightcrawlers in there. I was very surprised when he acted very aggressive and bit a piece of worm that was larger than his head was...then he managed to eat the entire thing quickly. Now he eats even bigger pieces when I feed them to him and it's always amusing to see him get so worked up finding and attacking the food. It's like he thinks he's a shark or something. Hilarious. I hope he keeps those red eyes as he gets larger. One thing I noticed once I got him home....it looked like he was missing one of or most of one of his fins on his side near his head. I know that another fish in my tank didn't hurt him because I saw it when I put him in there but he was so tiny that it was kind of hard to say if he had been attacked at the lfs or if it just was a deformity. So I'm wondering if it will grow back or be a big deal at all. It doesn't seem to affect him at all.
