It was sold to me as a L190. Can't wait until this little guy gets big it's around 2 inches right now...:(
 
Yes, most likely. Try and get a side view and mouth (showing the teeth) picture. Preferably whilst it's in water.

i bought 6 at that size, within 2 days time.
3 died. :(

not discouraging you, but keep tabs on them. they fight a lot as juveniles if there's enough room to fight over.

the greatest satisfaction i get is seeing them eat as babies :)
 
It seems like this species is really shy. I rarely see it during the day. I throw in an algae disk right before lights out and it disappears in the morning. Hopefully it's eating when the lights are out...

its actually a Panaque.
categorized as a Pleco, but different genus/family or whatever.
its been a long time since i was in highschool bio.

kingdom phylum class order...blabla:D

try and sneak a peek after you throw in the food..maybe an hr later. Definitely a shy species, but its reassuring to know that they eat.

my baby royals are all like that. i'll walk towards their tank and catch em eating...then zzzzzip! right back to their hiding spot.
