How low can tank lighting be for java fern and anubias to do well? I have 3x xenon lights over a 75g long. Seems like it should be enough, but any thoughts?

Thanks

I have seen monster java ferns growing with no light on the tank, and the tank is even on the bottom of the tank rack.

Growing or just alive?

i use at least 1 wpg for my anubias they grow great

you can grow java fern inside a canister filter. lol

Personally I havent had much growth with java ferns under 1 wpg, even in a couple months time. They are basically just there. At 1-1.5 wpg they seem to grow slowly. Over 1.5 is pretty decent growth. WPG figures based on fluorescent lighting mostly in the 6,000-12,000K range.

I've never heard anyone using xenon lights before, can you describe your lights in a little more detail?
