I remember it well, it was before we had snowblowers or at least nobody I knew owned one.

Americans haha.. Maybe every tenth person here has a snowblower right now, shovel all day for the rest of us..

Yeah its too bad to shovel so everyone in the house pitches in for a plow to come lol. Also helps I can tell my buddy I'll bring him free wings if he does my driveway real quick. Or borrow my boss 20 horsepower snowblower

Ive walked to school in that too, its fun lol. They only close school around here if its past -30, which happens sometimes but not too much. Snow/wind/ice has knocked out the power and stopped school 10x more time then just the cold or just snow

My fam lived through it, it basically came down to if you had snowshoes or Xcountry skis you were good to go. If im not mistaken that was the winter that froze Niagra Falls solid. For real lol

Its really funny how you guys keep referring to buffalo as the worst of the worst, it is hahaha. Its gotten to -40 here within the last couple days, the highest snowdrift ive seen was about 15 feet, like a solid wall on the side of the road. Car crushing status if it all fell lol. In the big parking lots the piles of snow can get 20-40 feet high. Feet guys.

Then you get the south like NC where I heard a couple weeks ago they shut down school for 2-4 inches of snow. Ive walked to school in 2-4 inches of snow lol

I know I am looking out the window now.. snowing again.. 4 ft on the ground.. and bitter cold.. I wonder how they would handle this.. not good.
