I would stock it, initially, with 6 to 8 Amphilophus trimaculatus about 1/2" long. Too bad nobody has any of those for sale. Oh wait... I do
Sorry, couldn't resist...
lol you still got those suckers for sale? thought they would go fast. or is this a new batch?
sorry don't mean to derail.
convict_breeder take what these ppl say literally because i am with them on this matter. 150 is to small for all that stock. you say a pair of FM's for one side and a pair of cons for other. this isn't gonna happen this way at all.
1. the O's will prolly get full grown in there, thats at least 14inches. and they will prolly be able to eat the cons and FM's.
2. Midas. this fish will more then likely kill the O's and anything else it might perceive as a threat to his domain. very nasty fish when reaches a bulky 8+inches.
3. the rays will just be to much period. their discs will outgrow your 18inch wide tank. so therefor they should not even be considered.
the ideal stock of that 150 for you using your stocklist.
either the cons and FM's, maybe some SD's for targets, or even rainbows for surface action.
or the O's with a nice size catfish of somesort, and also maybe some redhook SD"s.
i don't see a midas fitting into either or any scenarios.
well gl, and hope you enjoyed my speech
