Just lost an orino

Just feed my orinos in my growout tank half hour ago. Jumped in shower went back down to turn off the tank light and i was missing a orino cannot tell if its a rio meta or rio apure since they r all the same size now. He jumped out of the back of the tank were the filter is. Any suggestions to close it up tighter so those others dont meet the same fate? The gap is only about a half an inch in the only open spot in the tank.

I had the same thing happen to me three weeks ago.

Had to cover a spot on my tank when my orinos were smaller. I used a washcloth rolled up, but noticed the cloth was getting damp from the water, so I rolled another one up then wrapped it in plastic-wrap, with a rubber-band. Worked like a charm.
