Just lost my shovelnose

Best damn catfish I have ever had, hands down. He hit a wall, broke his nose, and developed hemorrhagic septicemia.




It just happened so fast. He went from super healthy to super skinny and dead in two days.

Yea....he was GORGEOUS. Bought him as a Lima (LOL).

I would guess by the stripes and the spots it was a pseudoplatystoma tigrinum...a Tiger Shovelnose.

There's also pseudoplatystoma fasciatum thats also called a tiger shovelnose, but they're more stripes and no spots.

Wasn't silvery like a normal TSN....
