Not sure where you are in jersey. But in Blackwood, the aquarium center, has some beautiful XXL blue rams. The nicest Ive ever seen. Unfortunately, they are all males. If you're close, check 'em out,
They arrived about 7PM. Once I got them acclamated and settled in to the tank I was able to take some pics. They showed up in good shape and started eating brine shrimp as soon as they saw the Neons going after them. Jeff did a nice job picking out 3 healthy looking pairs. The rest is up to me.
These guys are pretty small about 1.5" average femals a little smaller. I'm planning on starting them on NLS Ther +A 1mm pellets as the staple and treat with Brine Shrimp, the Neons are eating the Brine shrimp, daphnia and some Omega One Color Flakes so they'll be getting some of that buy default also.
awesome, i am moving all my plants over to a 10g and i'm going to be adding 40+ cherry shrimp, and maybe 10 pygmy cories, would a pair or two be ok in that size tank? i've never done rams before, but i've always wanted too. Also my PH is 8.2, i know its kinda high, but would they do ok in that high of ph?
