They are so cheap why take the risk

Everyone talks about heater guards but I can NEVER find one... I used google shop and they have some made for Fluval series heaters only. Can someone please point me in the right direction?

I suspect heaters are very similarly shaped. Pretty sure I'm using a Tronic guard on an Ebo Jager heater.

fluval makes one, comes in different sizes too, i got the 300 size and it fits my jager 250w perfectly

PVC is cheap and available anywhere to make your own heater guard.

go to home depot, go to the plumbing department, find a large pvc pipe - either black or white, cut to length of heater. If you want to get fancy, you can half pvc pipe. Done in about 15 minutes time and for about $1.00
