what do need to know to care for these guys, how do i make sure they get their food? and what is best to feed them? thanks

ill be honest i didnt buy them i got stuck with them, they look real ugly and they suck on the glass. they look like pleco's but real ugly. i think they were baught from petCo lol wish i had more information on them

Sorry bout the ugly fish. But plecos have a varied diet and it depends on what you have. PetCo plecos are usually commons and would eat algae when young, supplemented with algae wafers, and as they grow they depend less on algae and more on the wafers and veggies. The veggies would be sweet potato, squash, things like that. You can just drop it on the bottom at night, but make sure you get it out the next day.

nope they arent the ones on the link. i think they are the comon ones BoBears is talking about.. and how do you know they are juvies? i dont even know how big they get..

Common plecs can reach 18 inches depending on the species but still, they'll eventually outgrow most average home aquaria.

im not worried about them outgrowing.. ive got more than enough room for them just making sure i know what to get for them =) thanks for all the advice guys OH i also need to know if i put one of them in my african cichlid tank, will the salt hurt him?

What size is it? There is no need to include that first abbreviation when responding to someone.
