Just picked up a huge clown knife

I used to have a ClownKnife & an Arowana of almost the exact same sizes in a 240. "Used to" because my CK ate my Arowana. They lived together for quite a while too with no warning signs that there might be trouble. They were well fed and pampered in general. I will keep my fingers crossed for you. They are both beautiful.

I am sureyou will be watching them. Just beware of really unusual behavior like the aro staying near bottom. It might not feel "safe" at the surface. They may become pals too tho. Just keep both well fed. Really nice looking setup.

10 years old and it's that small That's one stunted CK. looks in goo health but by far not the right size for that age.

average size for these guys in captivity is about 18 or so, right? nice fish

No, In captivity these guys will do over 2' with ease if givin propper care.

the fish doesn't look stunted at all though. it just looks smaller then what it "should" be. while that might seem as a contradiction....i have seen stunted fish that looked so deformed. this fish looks perfect to me. weird
