Just picked up a killer deal. A 40 gallon!

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Good deal. I have one for my 125g. I like it for being cheap but functional. Mine also has the uv light feature.

I have 3 of those Sunsun canisters, 2 of the largest size and 1 of the size you're getting. Just want to give you a heads up on the one you're getting. After about 9 months, my trays became slightly warped and it was not visually noticeable but just enough that I couldn't lock the top back on. So, it is now useless. Maybe mine was just one of those freak things that sometime randomly happens idk. Anyway, you got it for a great deal and you can't lose with that price. The 2 larger ones have been running for well over a year and has been working flawlessly.

Just a tip on those hoses, soak the ends in near boiling water for a bout a minute and they become super soft and easy to install. Best part is once it cools back down, it'll create a nice tight grip. Also, when you install the hose, make sure you get it to fully bottom out to avoid leakage.

where did you find that filter for $22?

Amazon.com it's called a sun sun canister filter I just placed an order. scroll down a bit and see the different filters the $22 is the best value

Thanks for the heads up and tips. What do you mean by bottom out? Now I need to think of the stocking ideas. I don't think I'm doing the convict pair in there.

Push the hose ends onto the attachments(spray bar, intake tube, etc) until it goes no further
