Just picked up a new black arowana!!!

yeah I have been keeping an eye on him but I have never seen the vatf go after any of the other fish in the tank and he is only 6" so im not too woried about it...
I took the picture right after i put him in the tank so it definitely isn't the best picture of him... but he still isnt in the best of shape...
yeah his fins are pretty rough but im not complaining... I got him for a great price compared to what ive seen on the market and twice the size of all of the ones ive seen from vendors...
Don't underestimate a 6" ATF. He could do grevious damage to that little aro if he wanted to. He could especially damage the fins. A minor scuffle with the ATF will make that aro's future healed fins look like that almost quicker than your eye can see!
As for the fins now, with clean water and nothing antagonizing him, the fins should heal up fine in a month or so.
My fourteen inch VATF never went after my two foot Black Arowana and they were in the same aquarium for about ten years. festaedan you have the caps lock button on.
You get your vatf from Broadway, they got a tiny one in now.

No my brother ordered it from ocean state aquatics a while back...
