If they aren't in good health when you get them, the added stress can be the last straw for them, as what probably happened with you Liz. If you have a healthy animal, and acclimate it right and give it the proper care you should be fine.

Thanks Davo ..yes the bushy nose i bought the same time and added them both the same time to quarenteen tank was just fine..and still is.. he was just weak..and adding the stress was too much.

i am sure, we have no idea what they catch in LFS or how they come in there sick already..have no idea if they are eating ..and looking at an animal does not always tell you..
