Just picked up a stubborn 6" Silver

I've had a heck of a time getting my 6" silver acclimated and eating well over the past two weeks. Any time he stops eating I have to drive 30 miles to pick up "pinhead" crickets (tiny), he will usually eat krill, but he'll stop taking the krill and wont eat anything I offer until I come home with the crickets and then he'll eat em by the dozen three times a day... might help... I have to say that I beleive that aros are the best teacher fish. Based on how long they open their mouth and by how slow they eat. He already thaught my 4" W/C Orino to eat krill and my baby Armatus is wanting to take shots but doesnt (still very happy to see him wanting and measuring up the krill). Although I think the Aro is still to scared to swim to the top of the tank and eat. He just waits till the krill sinks then attacks

awesome, Wes. it'll swim up top once it gets more comfortable, but it sounds like it's well on its way. That would be awesome if the armatus follows suits and great news that the bass already has.

I like Aros, and all the rest of the fish I have. I think it is even better to get a fish that teaches well and you actually like/enjoy the teacher fish. Not just getting him cause you need him to do you a favor then selling/moving him.
I just cant wait to put my ODD combo together.....
Just need the Armatus/Aro and Orino to go in and we have a ODD ball tank
