Just picked up my armatus

  • We are currently upgrading MFK. thanks! -neo
Great looking specimen! Congrats on him!

Beautiful fish! You are very lucky. Yes, they are an expensive fish but well worth it. My only concern would be investing that sort of money into a fish that could die prematurely. Either due to owner mistakes or an unexplainable sickness. Then again some fish keepers spend thousands of dollars on a single stingray so this would be a tip of the ice burg to them.

You now have what hopefully will grow to be a very awesome fish, good luck.To those who claimed to have seen them for double digit prices,if you really knew what you were looking at then good for you.

ya thats what i think. your lucky if you can come across someone who does not know what they have, and just sell it for the same price as a scomb. And he/she is doing great fist night took out four neon tetras. it won't always eat so good, just had a few extra to feed it. it will be eating roseys and goldfish here soon. I never plan on weaining it off of live, just to un natural for me, IO like watching it feed on live fish.

You got it at Tropical Fish Warehouse, right? He told me today that he sold one of those.

I asked the guy on Tuesday if he was ever going to get any Fahaka Puffers in. He didn't know what they were, and I wrote the name down for him. He said he would check. Today, I went there and he already had them. Awsome store.

Anyways, awsome pickup!

Ya I'v known Scott for a few years now, good guy. He did not know what an armatus was so I wrote the name down for him and he got it a few weeks later. He said his getting 30 rays here soon too, supposedly some tigers and MM's and various other species.
