I feed my GSP brown snails once a day to every other day. Once a week he gets frozen blood worms. Is this a good diet? He won't eat flakes.
That's a question for pufferpunk for sure... I am pretty sure she keeps them or has kept them.

He most likely won't ear flakes--puffers are crustacean eaters.
They do need a varied diet:

my fahaka is eating live ghost shrimp, frozen krill, pellets, and sinking algae wafers!

Awesome fish. Check out this video of one (not mine) feeding on a large apple snail:

^Go to 2:10 in the video. After the puffer eats the meat out of the snail he turns and looks at the owner giving him a "That's all the food I get? Can I have more?" look LOL.

And another fahaka trying to eat an apple snail with an ID Datnioides fish also interested in the snail:

The good thing about ALL Tetras (as far as I know).... they are carnivores :). I see neons and cardinals in a lot of fahaka puffer videos on youtubes, and they all go after the mess the fahaka leaves behind.

Plus should they ever start disappearing from the tank....they are cheap enough to replace...

I had about 2 dozen at one time. All gone...

I"ve got a dozen silver dollars with my baby fahaka....they are pretty good too about eating what the puffer doesn't. Not sure how long this'll last but they're pretty quick so I'm hoping for the best. Fortunately I got them when petsmart had them on sale for $1 each.

If they start getting picked off though I'll most likely move the rest of the group to another tank so I don't lose them all.
