I agree with those that say Jag/mayan. or mayan/jag...I see the jag face with the mayan pattern...they remind me of my male tex female jag cross......

Two females or males at this size would not be friends?
Ive seen it In pikes but not cichlids of this type.
They follow each other around so probably male and female I would of thought.

I had a female jag x synspilum in the tank a few years ago and they mated.
I kept a male baby this was the result.
A massive quick growing blue monster,16inch
We're did the blue come from lol.
