so there has been a 10+ female dovii at my lfs for over 2 years now. it has said 99$ on it forever. ive tried many times to trade for the fish or at least knock some cash off. its been in a 20 gal the whole time. love the fish just walking by the tank it litteraly slams against the glass and sound like its gonna break it. its by far the most aggressive fish ive ever encountered. at least towards people... today i just so happen to be in there buying bloodworms n whatnot, and asked again. finnaly i go the owner to come over and i told him about the living conditions of the fish. long story still long... i talked him down to 60. really not the price i wanted but the fish is imaculate, mean, great markings, and a good match for my male that lost his mate about 7 months ago. plus she wont be cramped into a 20 gal anymore wich im very happy about. i just got her in his tank and they seem to be hitting it off perfect. playful swimming, a couple lip locks here and there. its been less than an hour and she looks like she found a spot and they seem happy. just wanted to share with everybody. no matter how many fish you have, its always exciting to bring something new home.
