Is that the big Dovii they had in there next to a rd?? I went in there a few times and would check it out all the time, a real glass banging beast. I'm glad she went to a good home, hopefully everything works out.

Nice pick up. I wouldn't wait on the divider. Your male is capable of killing her with one good blow to the abdomen. In which case she'd die from internal I injuries without a scratch on her.

I always go to Tong's in whittier. From time to time they do have odd balls which is good to see but they're posted prices are ridiculous. But I agree, they do not have any big tanks to house fish except the few big ones that are for saltwater only in front. All giant freshwater fish are in 20gals...kind of sad, they shouldn't price it so high just to move it. Time is money, the longer it's there the more money is depleted from care, time, food..etc. You would think they would realize this and not have to have customers hound them for 2yrs to finally give in. Boo Tongs!
