Just planted my Tank

if you treat the goldfish its competly fine, still a small risk. i feed mine feeders sometimes. as long as you treat them its ok.


panted piranhatank heres how i feel;
  • piranhas do not like alot of light, less light the better
  • Plants NEED need light to surrive
  • piranhas do need light but not alot, a simple light with tape will be great for p's
  • piranhas do like plants in their enviorment its natural, makes the tank better but the light needed for the plants may be to much for the piranhas eyes, they are senstive to light source.

  • This would up to the owner. Some piranha owner do like the have lots of plants for the tank to look nice, some piranha owner don't like anything. just bare tank with gravel. It's all personal preferring.

Some keepers don't like the upkeep and mortality of real plants. I think plants are a good way to go though!

they still need light, just dimmer lighting . . . . .
& thats a couple of plants, what kind of plants has he planted in his tank?





all fish will be more active in natural aqurium. i will find where i read that. EX; black water, replcates amazon. if you didnt have that it wont be as natural. p's wont be as active

Let say if you got sick piranha, injuries, stress, ammonia burn, parasite, low tem, small tank, all these can make piranha or any other fish active in natural aquarium?

I do agreed with you with natural aquarium, but natural looking aquarium is big different from natural envoriment aquarium.

Piranha need to keep well fed, lots of space to swim, no stress, very healthy, no injurie, high temp, etc...in order to be active in natural aquarium.

I'm not argueing with you or saying you are wrong. I just state this from my own expereince with piranha.
