everyone has their preference, I"ve used cycle, prime, and stability. all seem to do the job..
Depending on what you pick, when I've used them to start a tank I just follow the directions, usually 1/2-1 capful per 10gallons...
Start filling er up. Even if you don't have enough ro water yet, mix it with regular tap water, as the tank will still have to cycle anywise. and then you will have enough RO to do your first water change down the road without having to wait for it to fill a bucket up...
