Unfortunately when i returned from work yesterday afternoon, he had been mortally wounded his face was basically torn off, im not sure which one of my fish did it, but if i had to bet i would say it was my electric blue Ali that was the culprit but i cant be 100 percent sure, he was a bit to small for all of the aggressive fish i have. if at some point i can find a larger one i will put him in. Im really dissapointed but he was just to small. :o(

Sorry to hear this. For any small monster fish, you still should care for them like a baby. Keep them in small tanks with proper air supply, high temp and possibly hiding spots to lessen the stress, and feed them well with frequent water changes. Do that until they put on some strength and size.

AA doesn't usually carry pbass. You may want to try Petland in Hilliard or call around or ask a lfs near you to get one for you. Good luck with the next ones.

Arodoni,

i was looking at some photos and i saw some type of small tank seperator that kind of hung up in the corner of the tank,im thinking of trying to hunt down one of those, that would be great for a smaller fish that needs to grow before being introduced to the boyz. i could have used something like that instead of taking a chance like i did, that was pretty irresposible and a waist of a perfectly nice and healthy PB. ill check with the petland in hillard.

Thanks!!

i got them today but they're a bit shy..hiding around my plants and stuff so wen they're ready to come out i'll take some pix or make a vid

What are you guys feeding your baby peacocks? I bought a 4-5 incher thinking that my friend (and owner of the LFS in athens) couldnt get me one.
Turns out he got some in, but they are tiny, like 2 inches. The only thing I can get them to eat is live black worms, and they will only eat 1-2 per feeding. I currently have the smaller two in a 10 gal with fancy guppies in hopes the guppies will spawn food for the bass!
The 4-5 inch will eat any guppy he can fit in his mouth!
Thanks,
Shaun
