My lfs always ordered them for me. If they can't get them try night crawlers from the bait shop. I always chopped them into small bites when my rays were small and they loved them. How long has he been in the tank? They usually take a while b4 they eat, just getting used to a new environment.

well heres an update i went to the lfs and they did not have nightcrawlers of blackworms but they had something called red wigglers(look like earthworms to me). i droped about five of them into the tank and woke up the stingray from under the sand he then started looking around and finally found the worms i watched him eat two of them. i also picked up some frozen beef heart which he has not yet touched. also at the store i picked up a really cool looking lima shovel nose catfish who as soon as he saw the worms slurped on right up then two mins later the head of the worm was coming out of its gill which scared me a bit bu then he managed to get the worm down. its neat how they swin/sleep upside down. now for the juv. aro's i got baby crickets and dropped on in but they seemed to have no reaction to it and it ened up in my overflow box then into my sump :). the aro's also didnt take to the beef heart either. but this morning i crushed up some cichlid sticks and added some frozen blood worms and i think i saw them eat a little bit. i also took my two 4-line cats out of my ciclid tank and moved them into the 120gallon with the ray and aro's and shovel nose, they went right after the worms as well and fought over one worm which was kinda cool. (the aro's and the stingray have been in the tank since monday.

another question im looking for a fish that will school kind off in the middle of the water column to complet my tank any suggestions?

this tank is getting really crowded really fast.... most schooling fish like that will get demolitioned by the other stuff you already have in the tank

thats wat i figuered thats y im asking im not to worried about me stocking quickly because the tank has actually been running for about 6 months it used to be an amazon type tank with lots of small fish in it so it well cycled have yet to have any kinda of spike and i do a 10gallon w/c every 3 days.
