Just setup my first shrimp tank!

My 2 cents, I had bumble bee shrimp a while ago. They were way to small and I could never find them. The Cherries sound great though! Good luck
 
Well I have had problems with just cycling a small tank I might use some Christmas money to buy a 10 gallon....not sure tho. Wanna get this tank going cause the sponge disintegrated and the water went south on it :/
 
I used one of the super small hang on tank filters when i have my hex up. I think it was 2.5gallons.
I'm sure it's out in the garage. My plan got put on hold because of a power surge that fried the control board in my garage door opener. There goes the money I was planning to use to get this tank up and running.
 
Ouch, yeah christmas this year ill probably use the extra money for a 10 gallon. Should make it all back if the shrimp do good and I sell them.
 
Where are you selling the shrimp, do you have a good LFS near you? I'm always looking for someplace new in NC.
 
Well once I start it will probably be to Sky to Sea Pet shop in Lexington NC. They are a little pricey but they have some of the healthiest fish and have an amazing assortment of salt water coral and fish. I just go in there sometimes to look at their setups.
