JUST SILVER ARO'S?

was just letting u know he will be monster in the blink of an eye
and ya an aro would love that setup,if it was big enough
but when you only fill half the tank you have less water
240g half full is 120g
and if you think going topless,they love to jump out and sometimes even get out of sealed tanks
a big pond setup like that would be cool but then you will have to deal with the jumping

cool.im not going topless.im putting a screen top.the plants need alot of light plus ill be periodically putting in lizards and i dont want them to escape,although i have a feeling theyll be dissapearing on me ;)
 
What's there not to like about silver aro??? It is very cool fish ... heheheh that said, i have all except lei and afro ...

What silver has (ok also black) is a long and sinious body ... very hypnotic movement. They are especially cool when they are not shy .. .alas mine are still quite jumpy ^^
 
nothing wrong with a silver. If you feed it right, there's a good chance it will keep good coloration. Everything else has been covered, but again a 180 is too small for life and silvers are the only aros you can have in FL.
 
dont get me wrong silvers are awesome but the coloreful ones are awesomer,lol.im currently looking for a bigger tank.i only have room for a tank up to 9'x2'x3'.but im starting with a 55g till its big enough for the larger tank.
 
Some jars have really nice color. Check out Koji's, he's got a Jar that almost resembles an asian.
