one for the road anne? nice article, i got a little bit of it this time. The water was un-oxygenated so they moved to shallower spots, and eventually started gulping at the air (perhaps they tried hitting air into the water to oxygenate the water slightly if you get what i am saying) and over time they developed their ability to breath some air.
